I come from a long line of eczema sufferers. In fact, just about everyone in my family suffers with some level of eczema. I seemed to have it the worst, though. I spent years clawing at my itchy skin. I was so miserable in the winter months when the air was drier and cold too.

I knew that a diet eczema couldn’t beat was most likely not going to consist of all my favorite foods. I still kept myself motivated by the relief from itchy skin that I knew was in my future.

I gradually started cutting cow’s milk, wheat, soy, and fish out of my diet. I wasn’t quite ready to give up eggs yet though. Once I got rid of all the others, I really noticed a huge difference in my symptoms. I know that, once I am ready to cut out eggs too, I will be even closer to being eczema free.
